Does anyone actually like poetry? | My Take On Life

Certainly you?ve come to a starting point by asking here, and I suspect most who post here enjoy both reading and writing poetry.

Publishing might mean knowing the forms, styles, even the ?rules? associated with poetry, though we don?t always follow them, but many here have a passion for it.

Of course you can always E publish, or self publish at your expense, and/or find a publishing house that works with poets.

You could post here for C/C ,,,reviews, and this is no different than any other real world situation.

Some might enjoy your work, some here seeking status may answer, OMG, awesome, you should publish.

Some might be highly critical, not always with negative intent, but suggesting things.

You can be amorphous with your work, timely, topical, romantic, hard core deep, and many other things.

Not knowing your work, or a favorite genre or where your inspiration comes from it?s rather hard to judge at all, but in poetry it doesn?t hurt to sometimes explore outside your usuaboundarieses.

With no offense meant I offer a quote. ?There is no money in poetry, but then there is no poetry in money either.? HopefAOLy wealth through poetry is not your oal.
